THE BAND
Hailing from Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, Chanelle Albert & the Easy Company create indie folk rock that's as heartfelt as it is unique. Fronted by bilingual singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Chanelle Albert, the band features Andrew Gagnon on drums, Jacob Tyler on bass, and Josh Myre on guitar. Since their inception in January of 2018, the group has been gaining momentum with their evocative sound and powerful performances.
Chanelle Albert and the Easy Company began independently producing and releasing their original music with their first 2019 single, "From the Top", followed by their second single, "Si la nuit", in 2020. The band's website, chanellealbert.com, received the 2020 Folk Music Ontario Website Award sponsored by Bandzoogle. On May 20th, 2022, they released their five song live-off-the-floor EP album, The Birds. Marking a promising evolution in their musical journey, the group began working with producer Billy Bruhmuller and dropped a single, titled "Scratches", along with a music video, produced by Shawn Kosmerly, on August 18th, 2023.
Entering a new chapter, they released their first studio LP album, 22nd Century Beautiful People, on May 31st of 2024. This compilation of ten songs delivers a thought-provoking fusion of poignant storytelling, and carefully crafted musical composition, exploring the complexities of human emotion and modern society's evolving landscape. With a growing repertoire of original music, the four musicians have crafted a unique sound that is both nostalgic and contemporary.

Originaire de Sudbury, en Ontario, Chanelle Albert & the Easy Company créent un indie folk rock aussi sincère qu'unique. Mené par la chanteuse-compositrice bilingue et multi-instrumentiste Chanelle Albert, le groupe comprend Andrew Gagnon à la batterie, Jacob Tyler à la basse et Josh Myre à la guitare. Depuis sa formation en janvier 2018, le groupe fait sensation en Ontario avec une série de performances live captivantes, s'inspirant d'une multitude d'influences musicales, notamment le folk rock et le rock progressif, pour créer un son à la fois évocateur et pertinent.
Chanelle Albert & the Easy Company ont commencé à produire et à publier indépendamment leur musique originale avec leur premier single de 2019, "From the Top", suivi de leur deuxième single "Si la nuit" en 2020. Le site web du groupe, chanellealbert.com, a reçu le prix du meilleur site web de Folk Music Ontario en 2020, sponsorisé par Bandzoogle. Le 20 mai 2022, ils ont sorti leur EP live The Birds composé de cinq chansons.
