Winners will be announced live at the 12th Annual Toronto Independent Music Awards Gala and Festival on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Revival in Toronto, Ontario. Congratulations to fellow nominees The Marrieds, Hidden Roots Collective, and Taylor Holden. A special thank you goes out to my producer, Michel Junior Ducharme at Ducharme Family Productions, my father Roque Albert, and my beautiful musicians Aurel Ducharme and Joey Ducharme for contributing their hard work and talent towards my album, How Beautiful We Are. **September 30, 2016 - Had a great time in Toronto this weekend attending the Toronto Independent Music Awards and Gala on Friday night!!! It was a great honour to have been nominated for Best Folk or Roots. Even though I did not win the award I am still proud to have made it so far among some pretty talented artists. Congratulation to all TIMA nominees and award winners!! I thank my family members, Sylvie Albert, Roque Albert and Kyle Jobin for coming all the way down to Toronto just to support me!!
