Chanelle Albert is an emerging, independent singer-songwriter whose style is rooted in folk, rock, blues and alternative. Born and raised in the small nearby town of Verner, Chanelle started songwriting in both French and English at the age of 16 and going on to perform at the Lavigne Tavern, which has showcased many great emerging Canadian bands from across the country. Two years later, her debut album, How Beautiful We Are, earned her a nomination for Best Folk or Roots Album at the 2016 Toronto Independent Music Awards and a Canadian Folk Music Awards’ nomination in the category of Young Performer of the Year.

*July 19, 2017 - I'll be playing the Lavigne Tavern at 8 PM tomorrow night, Thursday July 20th, and the River & Sky 2017 - Music/Camping Festival this Friday July 21st at 11 AM!! It's sure to be a fun weekend!
